Deloitte, Circulor Partner on Supply Chain Traceability Software Solution

Global professional services firm Deloitte and Circulor are partnering to give industrial customers deeper visibility and traceability into their supply chains.
Circulor, founded in 2017, is based in London, England. Additional locations include the United States, Germany, Ireland, Singapore and Australia. The company had 73 employees listed on LinkedIn as of March 2023.
Circulor's Supply Chain Software, Early Adopters and Funding
Circulor's software platform "allows the tracing of raw materials as they change state through their entire life cycle from cradle to cradle," the company said. Circulor also "calculates inherited scope 3 emissions from granular primary data collected along the entire value chain," the company added.
Circulor's software also helps customers to comply with the EU Sustainable Batteries Regulation, which may go into effect on June , 2023. "Complying with the new regulation requires robust, efficient data collection across your entire supply chain and providing a battery passport to EU regulators," Circulor asserts.
Circulor's early customers include Volvo Cars, Polestar, BHP, TotalEnergies Jaguar Land Rover, Southwire, Trafigura, Blackstone Minerals, Urbix and Element 25, the startup company has previously disclosed.
Circulor raised $25 million in Series B funding in June 2022. Key investors include The Westly Group, HG Ventures of The Heritage Group, Volvo Cars Technology Fund, SYSTEMIQ Capital, Jaguar Land Rover’s InMotion Ventures, Future Positive Capital, BHP Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, 24Haymarket.
The Circulor-Deloitte Alliance: Executive Perspectives
Deloitte will help customers to deploy and scale Circulor's software as part of regulatory compliance and decarbonization projects. The professional services and IT consulting firm did not say how many employees will focus on the Circulor relationship and associated customer deployments.

Unveiled GreenSpace Tech, an initiative spearheaded by entrepreneurs and climate specialists to scale climate technology solutions, the company said.
Joined the AT&T Connected Climate Initiative (CCI), which promotes connectivity-based solutions in a bid to “reduce greenhouse emissions by 1 gigaton by 2035,” the companies said.
Added a “sustainable delivery” clause – known as Clause Zero – in customer engagement letters and contracts starting in 2023, the global IT consulting firm said.
