November 2023

• NTT demonstrated new solar energy developments at the company's annual R&D Forum. The new developments involve harvesting the sun with artificial photosynthesis. And unleashing the power of solar farms in space.
• NTT Data Business Solutions, a business unit that deploys and manages SAP applications for customers, outlined multiple net-zero carbon emissions goals. The company also continues to expand its green IT services for end-customers.

October 2023: NTT Data and NTT Merger

When NTT Data and NTT complete their long-planned merger in April 2024, David Costa will become chief sustainability business officer (CSBO) for the entire company, the firm announced.

July 2023

The company launched the NTT Green & Food Corporation, a company using artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and other information communications technology (ICT) to "develop more efficient and sustainable food production systems."

May 2023
