Aguirre joined AgroAmerica in September 2016 as corporate compliance officer. He shifted to corporate director in 2019. During his time with the company, Aguirre led development and execution of the current sustainability strategy, corporate policies, and compliance initiatives, AgroAmerica noted.

On the academic front, Aguirre earned a master's degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in New York.

David Allen is VP of sustainability for PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA), which includes Frito-Lay North America (FLNA) and Quaker Foods North America (QFNA). In this role, he is responsible helping PFNA execute its sustainability vision of building a more sustainable food system and reducing environmental impact. The company’s sustainability commitments span six key areas – agriculture, people, water, products, climate and packaging.  David began his career with PepsiCo as an engineer in 1996.  He then spent the next 20 years in various field manufacturing and distribution roles in multiple locations, giving him significant breadth and depth of supply chain experience. Prior to his current role, David served as the Senior Director of Quality and Food Safety for PFNA.  He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University. 

 As chief sustainable officer (CSO), Atkin will "advance the product strategy and growth for Redwoods.ai and deepen the company’s climate-tech capabilities, technology solutions and outreach," the company said.

Atkin is an attorney and expert on global carbon data architecture and GHG emissions policies. In a previous role as director of Carbon Accountable, she developed a legislative proposal and acted as the main technical advisor on California’s recently enacted corporate GHG emissions reporting law (SB 253), the company noted. Atkin also is a Stanford Law School CodeX Fellow and chair of the Climate Data Policy Initiative (CDPI), a project that "brings together climate experts, policy makers and technologists to inform the development of climate data policies with a special focus on how next-gen technologies like AI, IoT and blockchain can accelerate innovation and climate impact," the firm said.

Vijay Bains is the first-ever Group Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) at Emirates NBD Bank, Head Office, Dubai, U.A.E.

Prior to joining ENBD, Vijay was at KPMG in the UK where he has worked across Sustainability, advising client on Sustainable Finance, ESG Strategy, ESG Regulations. He has held roles across other leading organizations like Ernst and Young, Lloyds Banking Group and the European Bank of Reconstruction & Development.

Vijay has extensive experience building and implementing ESG strategies and teams. He has designed and marketed sustainability loans and green bonds, while advising on sustainability for IPOs, as well as designing and building ESG finance products such as mortgages, loans, and insurances

Vijay brings over 15+ years of sustainability experience to the role across the Middle East, UK, Europe, and North America. Vijay is responsible for the end-to-end ESG strategy including the introduction of more sustainable practices, policies, and outcomes across Emirates NBD Group.

He is not only responsible to increase the Bank’s sustainable finance offerings, investments, provide customers with greater advisory services to support their net-zero transition but also be responsible for the Corporate Governance requirements too. Vijay will significantly increase Emirates NBD Bank’s sustainability investments across the organization.

Lastly but not the least, Vijay plays a vital role in the Group’s journey to embed environmental, social and governance principles across the growing organization and business strategy. This is mission-critical for Emirates NBD Bank in delivering the vision and purpose in a sustainable way.

Wayne S. Balta is the Vice President of Corporate Environmental Affairs and Product Safety at IBM Corporation and the company’s Chief Sustainability Officer. He has global responsibility for environmental affairs, energy efficiency, and toxicology and chemical management as well as product safety and related hardware compliance functions. He joined IBM in 1984.

In addition to his role as IBM’s chief environmental executive, Mr. Balta is a member of IBM’s Acceleration Team – a group of the company’s top leaders that drives company-wide innovation and growth. A 36-year veteran of IBM, he has served on IBM’s Global Enablement Team for Kenya and East Africa and is IBM’s Partnership Executive for Carnegie Mellon University.

Mr. Balta has played a leadership role with a variety of organizations. He has served as Vice Chairman of the Board of the Environmental Law Institute and as Chairman of the Board of the World Environment Center. He has been a member and past Chairman of The Conference Board's Chief Environment, Health & Safety Officers Council. He is a member of the Governing Consortium for the UN Environment Programme’s Science Policy Business Forum. He serves as a member of the Sustainability Advisory Board for the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University and has served on the Strategic Advisory Council for the University of Michigan’s Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise.

Mr. Balta was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2019 and serves on its Civil Engineering Peer Committee. He received the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association for Environmental Management in 2018. He was named a White House “Champion of Change” in 2012 for his efforts to advance corporate environmental sustainability.

Mr. Balta received a Bachelor of Science Degree in civil engineering with University Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 1982, where he now serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Engineering. He was the recipient of Carnegie Mellon University’s Distinguished Alumni Service Award in 2009. Mr. Balta also earned a Master of Science Degree in civil engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (where he was a Tau Beta Pi Fellow) in 1984.

Dana Barsky has more than 25 years of corporate finance, M&A and sustainability experience. She most recently held the position of President of Growth for Good, a publicly listed special purpose acquisition company focused on inclusive, innovative and sustainable companies with strong business fundamentals and high growth potential.

In an interview posted on AustinTexas.gov, Baumer said: "I joined the Office of Sustainability team as Climate Program Manager in May 2011 and have been in this role ever since! It's been a long road in the same position, but that’s because I’ve really enjoyed working on climate change and serving the Austin community. The work is always interesting, challenging, and changing, and I’ve been surrounded by some of the best team members you could ask for.

This office has achieved so many things over the past decade that directly impact our climate, our local environment, and the people of Austin. I couldn’t be more proud to continue my work in the Office of Sustainability — and to keep advancing this work at an even faster pace in the coming years."

The Honorable Meredith Berger assumed the responsibilities of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations & Environment on July 28, 2021.  She is responsible for providing oversight and policy for Navy and Marine Corps energy and climate resilience; infrastructure sustainment, restoration and modernization; military construction; acquisition, utilization and disposal of real property and facilities; environmental protection, planning, restoration and natural resources conservation; and safety and occupational health.

Ms. Berger has served in a variety of policy and senior leadership positions in both federal and state government and the private sector. Before her nomination, Ms. Berger was a senior manager for the Defending Democracy Project at Microsoft Corporation. She was a Fellow with the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.

Ms. Berger was Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus, advising the Secretary on the formulation and execution of Department-wide strategy, policies, plans, and standards.

Ms. Berger also served as a Department of Defense Fellow. Prior to her tenure with the Department of the Navy, Ms. Berger held policy positions with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Office of the State of Florida Chief Financial Officer.

Ms. Berger holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Spanish from Vanderbilt University. She has earned the Secretary of the Navy Distinguished Civilian Service Medal, Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service, and the EPA Gold Medal for Exceptional Service.

Maria Blomqvist holds a Master of Science in Biology from Linköping University. She joined Seco in 2012 as Environmental Compliance Specialist and later as Manager for Global EHS and Head of Sustainability & EHS.

Dr. Katharina Beumelburg is SLB’s chief strategy and sustainability officer, a role she has held since May 2021. Since joining, Katharina has led SLB to be the first company in the energy services industry to announce a 2050 net-zero carbon emissions target inclusive of scope 3 and has been instrumental in building and executing the corporate strategy for the energy transition.

Before joining SLB, Katharina spent more than 15 years in global leadership positions focused on business strategy and excellence, energy systems, especially power generation, hydrogen, and transmission, and consulting.

Katharina holds a degree in industrial engineering from Universität Siegen, a degree in mechanical engineering from Universität Stuttgart, and a Ph.D. in robotics and automation from Universität Stuttgart. In addition to her formal education, she has received executive education from Stanford University, Princeton University, and Harvard Kennedy School. Katharina has been a Young Global Leader in the World Economic Forum since 2015, serves on the advisory board for the Technical University of Munich’s School of Management, and is a member of the Accenture Executive Circle for Industrial Equipment.

Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ)

As Executive Vice-President and Head of CDPQ Global and Global Head of Sustainability, Mr. Blanchard is responsible for coordinating CDPQ’s international operations. He oversees CDPQ’s international offices, ensuring the organization’s positioning as an investment partner of choice. He also supports the international growth and development of Québec companies. In addition, he oversees the organization’s sustainability orientations and activities and leads CDPQ’s strategy to integrate ESG factors into all investment activities. He sits on the Executive and Investment-Risk Committees.

Before joining CDPQ in September 2020, he was Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Canada to the United Nations in New York from 2016 to 2020. From 2017 to 2020, he sat on Canada’s North American Free Trade Agreement Council. Prior to that, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of McCarthy Tétrault, one of Canada’s leading law firms.

In addition to a Bachelor of Laws from Université de Montréal, Mr. Blanchard holds an LLM in Public International Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He also holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Master’s in International Affairs, both from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. He was called to the Québec Bar in 1992.

As EVP of Strategic Partnerships, Bosco oversees and expands ReloQuest's relationships with industry partners, customers, and vendors. She leads the development and implementation of strategies that foster growth and innovation across the organization's ecosystem. Bosco also leads ReloQuest's sustainability and DEI initiatives. She drives efforts to promote environmental responsibility and equity across the organization, engaging teams to identify and implement best practices to minimize environmental impact and support diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Boussem now leads Flexstone's ESG team, and is responsible for Flexstone’s sustainability strategy and associated investment approach. Her key priorities include focusing on "developing Flexstone’s in-house ESG investing framework, stewardship strategy, and product offering," the comany said.

Boussem previously was head of ESG at Flexstone's parent -- Natixis Investment Managers Solutions. While there, she was also part of a sustainable taskforce, which empowered Natixis Investment Managers to help "affiliates define their Sustainable journey (in line with the group ESG ambition)."

Electrolux Group has promoted Elena Breda to chief technology and sustainability officer, reporting to Group President & CEO Jonas Samuelson. Breda also a member of Group Management. Former Electrolux sustainability leader Vanessa Butani is exiting to join Volvo Cars.

Dan Bridleman is KP Home's Senior Vice President of Sustainability, Technology and Strategic Sourcing. In this role, Mr. Bridleman leads the firm's sustainability initiatives, maintains partnerships with our suppliers, and manages our information technology function.

With over 25 years of experience in managing Global Supply Chains, Mr. Bridleman began his career at KB Home in 2003 as Vice President of National Contracts. Prior to joining KB Home, Mr. Bridleman served as General Manager of Supply Chain Management at Boeing Satellite Systems in Los Angeles, California, the world's largest manufacturer of commercial communications satellites, as well as a major provider of space systems, satellites, and payloads for national defense, science, and environmental applications. Mr. Bridleman also previously served as Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Case Corp. in Racine, Wisconsin.

Mr. Bridleman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Ferris State University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business.

Brian Cain is Chief Sustainability Officer for Civitas Resources, having dedicated more than 15 years to the energy industry in regulatory affairs, media relations, government relations and energy policy roles. Prior to Civitas, Mr. Cain was Vice President of External Affairs and ESG Policy for Extraction Oil & Gas, a $1 billion publicly traded oil and gas producer, where he directed government, regulatory and public affairs policy, served as company spokesperson and implemented the company’s peer-leading ESG platform. Prior to Extraction, Mr. Cain served as Vice President, Energy Practice, for Hill & Knowlton Strategies, where he advised several of the world’s largest energy companies on public policy issues, as well as regulatory and public affairs strategy. Mr. Cain had previously served in global spokesperson and government relations roles for Anadarko Petroleum and Chevron Phillips. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Tulane University.

Prior to joining Hexion, she was a senior associate with the international law firm of Jones Day, where she focused her practice on Environmental, Health, and Safety related litigation, transactional, and counseling work. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.

Jessica Davis in September 2023 was named associate vice president and Indiana University’s first chief sustainability officer, where she will lead efforts related to IU’s new Climate Action Plan.

Davis had most recently served as IU’s interim university director of sustainability and leads the IUPUI Office of Sustainability. She is an associate faculty member in the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI. She has also served as the assistant director of the IUPUI Center for Earth and Environmental Science and a program manager for the Marian University Institute for Green and Sustainable Science.

Donohue has held a variety of senior roles for more than two decades with State Street including leading Investor Behavior Research at State Street Associates, the company’s partnership with academia, and then expanding her role to head this group. She also served as Chief Innovation Officer and Head of Advisory and Information Solutions for Global Exchange (now State Street Alpha℠) and head of Performance & Analytics for Investment Services. Most recently, she was the global head of State Street’s Asset Owner segment. Donohue’s financial services experience is complemented by her background in academia where she held several teaching positions at Brandeis University and the University of Minnesota. She is also a champion of our inclusion, diversity, and equity program and serves as the co-executive sponsor of our Disability Awareness Alliance.

As chief expense officer, Ms. Drummond leads the Northwell Health Alliance group purchasing organization, centralized pharmacy and centralized biomedical services as well as the health system’s central sterile facility in Bethpage.

She collaborates with Northwell Health’s clinical and administrative leadership to identify opportunities to become more efficient, leveraging her expertise in expense management and analytics to reduce waste and unwarranted variation, and eliminate excess cost. She also works to improve clinical standardization.

As chief sustainability officer, Ms. Drummond works to promote employing responsible environmental business practices and programs to help Northwell to reduce consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and waste generation.

She is working closely with leaders and teams across our organization to identify opportunities to accelerate our progress in sustainability. These include becoming more efficient, further reducing our carbon footprint, enhancing the sustainability of our supply chain, adopting additional “green” energy solutions at our facilities, advancing our recycling programs, streamlining vehicle transportation, and minimizing our use of water and other natural resources. She partners closely with Human Resources to ensure these efforts are aligned and integrated with the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework.

Previously, she served as the health system’s chief administrative officer and chief procurement officer.

A certified public accountant, Ms. Drummond joined Northwell Health in 2002 as vice president, material support services. In that role, she established a financial reporting and analysis team to execute a proactive procurement strategy of continuous improvement and increased support. In addition, in managing accounts payable, she implemented processes to enhance the monitoring and reduction of expenses.

Ms. Drummond was associate executive director of nonclinical services at Northwell’s tertiary campuses. She then served as the health system’s vice president of value analysis during which time she led a supply expense management project which saved the health system more than $100 million in supply-related expenses.

Before coming to Northwell, Ms. Drummond held a number of positions with J.P. Morgan & Co., Inc. where she worked for 15 years. Prior to that, she was employed by Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.

Ms. Drummond holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. John’s University.

Eigendorf

Marcos Eloi Lima has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Procurement and Sustainability Officer for The Kraft Heinz Company since December 2023. He has been Executive Vice President since December 2021 and Chief Procurement Officer since October 2019 and is responsible for leading the Company’s procurement organization globally. He joined Kraft Heinz as Advisor in the area of procurement in July 2019. Eloi holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting from Catholic University of Salvador, and an MBA from BSP, both in Brazil."

Enkler will lead ScandiNova's newly established Sustainability, Quality, and Communications unit. She's responsible for "integrating sustainability into everyday business practices and setting the company’s long-term goals."

Enkler previously was chief sustainability officer at Eternali, reporting directly to the startup company's CEO. While there, she developed Eternali's sustainability and ESG strategies. That company's core focus involve sustainable wood supply chains.

Forrest previously was Group Head of Corporate Affairs at Holcim, in charge of Investor Relations, Group Communications, Public Affairs & Branding. Prior to being employed by Holcim, she was the Vice President Corporate Communications at Firmenich and held public affairs roles at Dow, DuPont and the World Economic Forum. Forrest is a member of the MIT Climate and Sustainability Consortium Advisory Council and a member of Bloomberg’s Cities Council for sustainable cities.

Gannon has been with PNM for more than 25 years. She is responsible for developing and implementing the PNM sustainable business strategy and will be charged with establishing and organizing existing department environmental policies, strategies, goals and objectives. She serves as the primary contact with federal, regional, state and local agencies, as well as other utilities, business organizations and environmental and other stakeholders. She represents the company on environmental policy boards and forums, in regulatory and legislative proceedings.

Cassandra Garber has over 20 years of experience building and leading global, enterprise-wide sustainability, ESG, marketing and communications programs and teams across a variety of industries for $30B+ companies. Cassandra currently serves as Vice President, ESG, overseeing the teams and activities leading global sustainability, ESG strategy and operations, and Dell’s giving and social innovation programs. Cassandra and her teams are responsible for holistic advancement of the overall program, as well as formal leadership and execution of advancing sustainability and transforming lives.

Ross Goldman is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Network Solutions business unit at Leviton. The division was founded in 1985 and provides high speed networking infrastructure for commercial and residential networks globally. Ross has led multiple acquisitions for the business unit, including the acquisitions of Brand-Rex and Berk-Tek. He also serves as Leviton’s Chief Sustainability Officer, leading the foundation of Leviton’s sustainability strategy and program across all operations and businesses globally, which aims to reduce the company’s impact on the environment.

Ross joined Leviton in 2005 with global responsibility for the datacom business and has led the growth of the business, ranging from two acquisitions to product innovation, as well as overall profit and loss leadership. Prior to Leviton, he held key positions in general management, product development, product management, manufacturing, applications engineering, and development engineering at GE Lighting, GE Engines Raychem, PRTM, and IDEXX Laboratories.

Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Mr. Gonzalez is the Executive Vice President, Compliance Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer of ICTSI*.  He is the Global Corporate Head of ICTSI Group.  Prior to his current role, he was appointed as the Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific Region and MICT. 

Graham joined IFS as global sustainability (ESG) director in November 2021. She previously was a sustainability strategy manager at Santander UK, a British bank. Earlier, Graham held responsible business manager and responsible business lead positions at Fujitsu Americas and Fujitsu EMEIA, respectively.

As CSO, Graham will oversee the IFS sustainability strategy, while working with the executive team to scale that strategy and execution across global operations. The strategy will also embed various sustainability capabilities into IFS cloud software, the company said.

Dr. Hayward has over 25 years of diverse experience in the fields of environment and sustainability in the public, private, and academic sectors to the company. She has a Ph.D. in Ecology from McMaster University (2007) and an MBA with a Finance specialisation from the Haskayne School of Business (2022).

Woolworths Group veteran Alex Holt will join Ahold Delhaize as chief sustainability officer (CSO) in June 2024. According to her LinkedIn bio, Holt has roughly 25 years of leadership experience in the retail and consumer-goods sectors, across three continents. She has been chief sustainability officer at Woolworths Group since 2021. Earlier, she held general manager positions that involved quality, health and group sustainability; and concept development. Hold joined Woolworths Group in 2011 from Tesco, where she spent seven years in a number of roles in business improvement, merchandising and sourcing.

Horner's LinkedIn bio states: "Experienced communications executive, strategic advisor and corporate counselor with 20+ years managing reputation, sustainability, public affairs, media relations, crisis communications, government affairs and community giving. Successful track record delivering results in fast-paced environment."

Huffman oversees sustainability for Maple Leaf Foods Inc. a "carbon neutral company with a vision to be the most sustainable protein company on earth, responsibly producing food products under leading brands."

Lisa Jackson is Apple’s vice president of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives, reporting to CEO Tim Cook. Lisa oversees Apple’s efforts to minimize its impact on the environment by addressing climate change through renewable energy and energy efficiency, using greener materials and inventing new ways to conserve precious resources. She is also responsible for Apple’s education policy programs, its product accessibility work and its worldwide government affairs function.

Ron Jarvis is the Chief Sustainability Officer for The Home Depot. He is responsible for aligning the Company’s business strategies with its social, environmental and sustainability objectives. Ron also leads our SER factory audits, Utility Rebates, Product Safety departments, and he is the chairman of the Home Depot Environmental Council. 

Ron joined the Company in 1995 as a merchant. Kamadoli Costa

Kamadoli Costa is responsible for the company’s overall sustainability roadmap with a focus on climate and environment. Douglas H. Liedberg is senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Dana Incorporated.  Reporting directly to the company chairman and chief executive officer, Doug oversees all of Dana’s worldwide legal affairs, including risk management, and he has oversight responsibility for global marketing and communications.

Abigail leads Sustainability for global Experian. In her role, she develops a multi-disciplinary approach to sustainability and oversees the Environmental, Social and Governance programme for the organization. Since 2017, Abigail has led global Social Responsibility and Social Innovation programs, which positively impact business performance and employee engagement.

Jenny leads strategy coordination across McDonald’s global CSR & sustainability efforts, collaborating with partners across the company to advance the brand’s values of responsible leadership. Kathleen McLaughlin is executive vice president and chief sustainability officer for Walmart Inc. and president of the Walmart Foundation.

Kathleen is responsible for programs that help Walmart create opportunity through jobs and sourcing; advance the sustainability of supply chains; foster diversity, equity and inclusion; and build inclusive and resilient communities.

Moubayed is a 26-year Caterpillar veteran. After joining the company in 1997 as a marketing representative, Moubayed steadily climbed the sales and management ranks. Prior to his role within the Enterprise Strategy Division, Moubayed was VP and general manager of load and haul products for Resource Industries, and previously served as VP for aftermarket solutions for the segment, the company noted.

Naidoo-Vermaak has more than 20 years’ experience in sustainable development in both the private mining and public sectors in South Africa and globally, the company asserts. She previously held key roles at multiple international mining companies -- including Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited, De Beers Consolidated Mines Limited, BHP Billiton Limited and Anglo American plc.

 Newman now leads the EarthCheck's ESG consulting services, while also embedding sustainability needs in all aspects of the organization's existing business units, EarthCheck said.

Piehler’s UNC bio states: "Mike Piehler is a professor, director of the UNC Institute for the Environment, chief sustainability officer and special assistant to the chancellor for sustainability at UNC-Chapel Hill. Frank Prager is senior vice president for Strategy, Security and External Affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer. As chief of staff to the CEO, Prager is responsible for the tracking and development of the company’s strategic initiatives. His organization is also responsible for the company’s energy, environmental and climate policy priorities and security and emergency management programs.

As Chief Sustainability Officer, Prager develops Xcel Energy’s sustainability strategy and promotes the company’s sustainable priorities in its environmental, social and governance programs and practices. Batory Foods named Ramirez as chief people and sustainability officer in October 2023. She joined Batory Foods in 2010 as a commodity contract manager. She rapidly climbed the executive ranks as corporate excellence manager (2015), director of human resources (2018) and VP of employee experience (2020), according to her LinkedIn biography.

During her career, Ramirez formalized Batory Foods' human resource functions and led initiatives in the areas of talent management, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, environmental, health & safety, and sustainability, the company said. Her focus on culture and wellbeing has led to Batory achieving certification as a Great Place To Work in 2020 and 2022, the firm noted.

Sabo oversees Visa’s global corporate responsibility, sustainability and ESG partnerships, programs, formal reporting and communications, with a focus on sustainable living, financial inclusion, human rights, environmental sustainability, humanitarian support, strategic philanthropy and employee volunteerism.

Philip was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Loyalty & Travel Solutions (MAG) in January 2023, and double hatting as Group Chief Sustainability Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group. Prior to this, Philip was the CEO of Firefly, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MAG, since January 2019.

Philip joined Malaysia Airlines as Head of Strategy and Network. He is no stranger to the Group, having served in the Turnaround Management Office (TMO) in 2004. Under TMO, he was responsible for implementing the Business Turnaround Plan and, consequently, the Business Transformation Plan. Philip left the airline in 2010 and rejoined Malaysia Airlines in 2015.

Passionate about promoting inclusion and gender equality, Siemen helped create GM’s Take 2 career-reentry program, co-leads the GM Women Ally Program, and is its executive representative for the Society of Women Engineers. Gill previously was senior executive VP focused on risk and sustainability. He joined the company in 2019. Earlier, he held key financial posts at AmBank Group, Touch 'Go Pvt Ltd. and CIMB.

As CSO, Gill is responsible for leading and overseeing the company's sustainability efforts across all areas of the business, Silverlake Axis said. Strickland has worked on environmental issues in several capacities: as a prosecuting attorney for the New York State Attorney General's Office, water and air pollution expert for New York City's first sustainability plan, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and regional water and sustainability lead for the national architecture and environmental engineering firm HDR.

His initiatives and campaigns have included the $2.4 billion NYC Green Infrastructure program (the largest such program in the US), the NYC Clean Heat initiative, the NYC Wastewater Resiliency Plan, the NYC Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency, a resilient energy program in the Hunts Points neighborhood of the Bronx, a study to reduce greenhouse gases from the New York City building sector, and cleaning up toxic pollution of the Hudson River. He helped lead NYC's response to Hurricanes Sandy and Irene, and as an outside partner works to implement programs in response to Hurricane Ida.

He teaches graduate courses on sustainability and infrastructure development at Columbia University and earlier taught at NYU and Rutgers. Strickland is also on the NYC sustainability advisory board.

Juan holds a BA in Biology and earned his PhD with specialization in Marine Ecology and Environmental Toxicology, from the University of Hamburg in 1989.

On a more personal note, Juan is passionate about marine life and diving. Having grown up in the mountains, he enjoys skiing in deep snow.

van Bergen is responsible for overseeing the company’s climate change initiatives and processes which include setting measurable goals, policies and partnerships that will reduce its carbon footprint. 

During her time at Omnicom, van Bergen has used her expertise to counsel a wide variety of clients on sustainability policies, communications strategies and stakeholder engagement. For the past four years, she has also served as the Strategy Officer for Omnicom with the World Economic Forum, which developed its own framework for ESG reporting that Omnicom follows.

Poppel previously worked at Olam -- where is was co-founding CEO of Tract, a joint venture set up by multiple companies to share sustainability insights across food and agriculture supply chains. At Olan, he also was president of SustainIt, which allowed food and agriculture supply chains to measure sustainability performance.

Grupo Bimbo

Prior to joining Drax, Miguel most recently held the Executive Committee role of Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Corporate Affairs at the British multinational consumer goods company, Reckitt Benckiser. He has also been Chief Communications Officer at the Executive Leadership level for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the world’s largest philanthropic organisation, and worked for 11 years at Unilever where he was Vice President of Global External Affairs and Sustainability.
