4. Carbon Accounting Software: Speeki has released Carbon Lens, a carbon management solution within Speeki's sustainability management system, the company said.
5. Certification: TCO has updated its certification criteria, which helps IT purchasers to "drive sustainability across climate, hazardous substances, circularity, and supply chain responsibility." Moreover, the certification has expanded to include such products as speakers, keyboards, and webcams, the organization said.
6. Talent - Financial Services: CBRE Investment Management has appointed George Crone as sustainability lead for UK Direct Investments. George reports to Robbie Epsom, EMEA head of sustainability. Helen Gurfel leads the overall team as global head of sustainability & innovation.
7. Meta and Nuclear Power: Facebook parent Meta is seeking to leverage nuclear reactors starting in the early 2030s to power and support AI data centers and surrounding communities, Axios reported.
8. EV Charger Expansion: Blink Charging has agreed to install EV charger stations at four Minor Hotels in Mexico.
B. Sustainability M&A, Climate Tech Investments, Funding and Green IT Business Launches
1. Startup Funding: Carbon management software provider Carbmee of Germany has raised €20 million in early stage funding, ESG Today reported.
2. M&A - EV Charging Networks: Fuuse has acquired Everyday EV, a provider of electric vehicle charging services across the United Kingdom. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fuuse raised £8.7 million in Series A funding in June 2024. YFM Equity Partners led the round, with participation from existing investor Par Equity and an angel syndicate. At the time, Fuuse had more than 750 clients and 70,000 active users.Â
