4. Hitachi Energy, Google Cloud Partnership: Hitachi Energy and Google Cloud are partnering to develop multiple cloud software products and services to help customers accelerate the global energy transition toward green and renewable sources.
5. Electric Vehicle Charging: Tesla's Supercharger Network could ultimately generate $20 billion in annual revenues, SeekingAlpha reported. Amid partnerships with multiple electric vehicle (EV) car companies, Tesla's North America Charging Standard (NACS) appears poised to become an industry standard.
6. COP28 Climate Conference Preview: A Water Agenda at the conference will feature three priority areas: (1) conserving and restoring freshwater ecosystems, (2) enhancing urban water resilience, and (2) bolstering water-resilient food systems, according to summit organizers. 7. Executive Leadership: GE Vernova has hired Owens Corning veteran Ken Parks as CFO, and Vic Abate as CEO of the company's Wind segment. The company -- which develops power, wind and electricity solutions -- is set to spin off from General Electric in the next few months.
8. Growth - Building Energy Management Systems: Budderfly landed on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held U.S. companies for 2023. Budderfly develops a subscription-based technology service to manage and improve the energy efficiency of HVAC systems. The company has grown annual revenue 282% over the past three years, according to the report.
