1. Generative AI and EHS Software: Benchmark Gensuite's EHS software now features Genny AI, a set of proprietary Generative AI capabilities.
2. Research - Energy Transition: Â Almost half of the energy companies Citi lends to are lacking plans to cut greenhouse gas emissions, Reuters reported.
3. Partnerships - EV Charging Stations: Xeal and Vero Sade have partnered to deploy EV charging stations across Vero properties in Texas. Vero Sade’s Texas portfolio spans Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Xeal’s charging stations will be available at Us Bayou Park, a 404-unit project along Houston’s Allen Parkway corridor; 3700M, a luxury high-rise in Dallas’ coveted West Village; and Us 1604 and Us Cibolo, two San Antonio-based communities currently under construction, the companies said.
4. Talent: Marsh McLennan has hired Alexander Pui as senior VP of climate and sustainability consulting.
5. Talent: RIVE Private Investment, an independent European investment company, has hired Pauline Gasquet as head of sustainability. Gasquet will "oversee the operational implementation as well as the improvement of processes and procedures constituting RIVE’s ESG strategy," the investment firm said. RIVE specializes in transport assets and infrastructures dedicated to the energy transition.

1. M&A - Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF): Southwest Airlines has acquired SAFFiRE Renewables. SAFFiRE is part of a project supported by the Department of Energy (DOE) to develop and produce scalable renewable ethanol that can be upgraded into SAF. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

1. United States - EV Charging Station Challenges: President Biden wants to create a national network of 500,000 publicly available chargers by 2030, but only four states have such infrastructure in place so far, the Associated Press reported.
