Apple executive Lisa P. Jackson has joined Galvanize Climate Solutions, a climate-focused global investment firm, as strategic advisor. To be clear: Jackson also remains VP of environmental, policy and social initiatives at Apple.
In her role at Galvanize, Jackson will advise the company as it partners with corporations, entrepreneurs, and solutions providers to accelerate the climate transition, the investment firm said.
Jackson's role at Apple strives to address climate change through investments in renewable energy, energy-efficient solutions, recycled or renewable materials, and innovative resource conservation practices, Galvanize notes. She previously served as administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Galvanize, based in San Francisco, specializes in venture capital, growth equity, public equity and real estate to "accelerate climate solutions." The company was founded by Katie Hall and Tom Steyer.

- May 2023: The company hired Goldman Sachs veteran Allison Fremed as portfolio manager and chief operating officer for the sustainable real estate investment strategy.
