C. Electric Infrastructure, Power Storage and Building Energy Management (BEM)
34. Industrial Electrification: Advanced Industrial Devices (AID), backed by Black Bay Energy Capital, has acquired R.S. Integrators Inc. (RSI). RSI designs and manufactures electric motor control systems and power distribution panels for the water utility, wastewater, and various other industrial markets, the buyer noted. The combined businesses will "continue to capitalize on the trend of industrial electrification", delivering a world-class standard of excellence, technical expertise, high-quality customer service, and a geographic footprint for end-users to" to help customers "achieve business efficiency, sustainability, and decarbonization goals," the companies said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
35. Environmental Solutions & Tech Services: Private equity firm Apax Partners acquired Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES), a technology solutions provider, consulting firm and digital twins specialist that helps customers to decarbonize buildings, communities and cities. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
36. Smart Buildings: Smart building consultancy Contollo Group, backed by the private equity firm NorthEdge, has acquired Abacus. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
37. Smart Building Consultancy: Contollo Group, backed by the private equity firm NorthEdge, has acquired Abacus. Contollo is a newly formed smart building consultancy that assists United Kingdom customers with energy efficiency, carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives. Abacus is a cost management consultancy offering quantity surveying, project management, and technical services, including due diligence, technical assurance, and fund monitoring to the construction sector. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
38. SMB Distribution: ProKontrol, a national distributor of HVAC/R control equipment for commercial buildings, has acquired Carostan Controls. Both companies are based in the Greater Montreal Area, HPAG Mag reported. Financial terms of the deal were niot mentioned.
39. Building Management Systems: learnd Limited has acquired BG Energy Solutions, a provider of building energy management services in Europe. We don't know the deal's valuation.
40. Architecture:Â SRG Partnership and CannonDesign have merged. The combined businesses will focus heavily on sustainable building design in the Pacific Northwest, SRG said.
