Cox Enterprises Promotes Anne Lofye to Lead Sustainability Strategy, Execution: 4 Things to Know

Broadband and diversified media company Cox Enterprises has promoted Anne Lofye to senior vice president of Corporate Services & Sustainability.

Here are four things to know about Lofye's experience and expertise, and the Cox Enterprise sustainability strategy.

1. Business Scope and Scale: Cox Enterprises, founded in 1898, is based in in Atlanta, Georgia. The company specializes in broadband, transportation and media services. Cox also invests in emerging agriculture, renewable energy, healthtech, and public sector software opportunities. The company, backed by roughly 55,000 employees, generates roughly $23 billion in annual revenue. Major business divisions include Cox Communications and Cox Automotive. The company's key brands include Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book and Cox Homelife.

2. Sustainability Goals and Milestones: Cox Conserves, the company's national sustainability program, launched in 2007. Key priorities include energy conservation, water conservation, waste diversion and recycling and community engagement. The company' is seeking to send zero waste to landfills by 2024, and Cox wants to be carbon and water neutral by 2034.

3. Anne Lofye's Role and Experience: In her new role as senior VP of Corporate Services & Sustainability, Lofye leads a multi-functional team spanning Enterprise Security, Real Estate and Facilities Operations, Aviation Operations and Cox Conserves, the company said. Lofye is responsible for planning and operationalizing long-term real estate, security, corporate services, aviation and sustainability strategies across the enterprise, while ensuring strong execution of ongoing efforts in these areas daily.

Loftye previously was VP of Real Estate and Facilities, overseeing real estate transactions, real estate lease administration, real estate design, construction and project management, facilities management, the executive vehicle program and environmental health and safety, the company said.

4. Executive Perspectives: In a prepared statement, Cox Enterprises President and CFO Dallas Clement said: “Since joining Cox in 2011, Anne has continued to show her talent for leading teams in different areas across our company,. We have the utmost confidence she will continue to do so as she adds to her responsibilities and helps us work toward our business and sustainability goals for the future.”
