1. AI Deployments: Seeweb has launched Regolo.ai, an AI inference platform designed to simplify eco-friendly AI development globally. The platform features "open-source tools, transparent architecture, and a strong focus on data security," Seeweb said. Operating on 100% renewable energy, Regolo.ai presents a "green alternative to AI solutions relying on non-renewable sources," the company said.

2. IT Services and Outsourcing: Green cloud infrastructure, efficient code strategies, culture alignment and regulation expertise are strategic differentiators in today's IT services market, according to To Quang Duy, CEO of Newwave Solutions, one of the first Vietnamese outsourcing firms ranked for sustainable growth.

3. Education - Green IT Services: Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet and the TU Dublin School of Enterprise Computing and Digital Transformation have launched Ireland's first Masters program in Sustainable Cloud Computing.

4. Partnership - Hospitality and Cloud Services: The Social Hub selected Measurabl for a sustainability data platform that serves real estate organizations.

5. Partnership - Hospitality: The World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance and Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) are partnering to advance sustainability in the global hospitality industry through education, research and collaborative action, the two organizations said.

6. Partner Program - Supply Chain Management: Avetta has launched a global partner program to help customers "go beyond cimpliance" to build "safer, more sustainable and more secure supply chains."

7. Partnership - EV Charger Networks: Eaton and ChargePoint are partnering to deliver "ultrafast charging architecture with end-to-end power infrastructure for public charging and fleets," the two companies said. More details will surface at the RE+ conference in Las Vegas. Select customer orders will begin in Q1 of 2026, with deliveries starting in the second half of 2026, the companies said.

8. Honorees: Casella Waste Systems honored four organizations with Sustainability Leadership Awards for 2025. The 2025 honorees are Primo Brands, Dartmouth College, The Arc Otsego, and The University of Vermont Medical Center.

9. Solar Project Goes Live: DENSO activated a major solar facility in Tennessee. Key partners on the project included the City of Maryville, Silicon Ranch and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).

1. M&A - Consumer Energy Solutions: Schneider Electric has acquired WattBuy, a software company focused on the U.S. residential electrification market. WattBuy will partner with Schneider Electric subsidiaries EnergySage (an online marketplace for solar and storage solutions) and Qmerit (a provider of electrification services). Together, the organizations will provide customers with personalized energy plans, solar installations, EV charger deployments, home electrification upgrades and more. Financial terms of the WattBuy acquisition were not disclosed.

1. Global Emissions Rise: A rise in greenhouse gas pollution from fossil fuels — particularly in the United States — was a major factor in pushing global emissions higher in the first half of 2025, according to Climate Trace, a nonprofit backed by former U.S. VP Al Gore.

2. United States - Battery Surplus: U.S. battery makers will likely face a major surplus in manufacturing capacity by 2030 as President Donald Trump's administration withdraws support for electric vehicles, Bloomberg reported.
