A. Sustainable IT Partnerships, Strategic Alliances and Strategies

1. Financial Services and IT Consulting: Tech Mahindra has launched i.GreenFinance, a sustainable lending platform for banks, investors and insurance firms. The software, built on Amazon Web Services, allows customers to evaluate and manage green and sustainability-linked loans for financial institutions.

2. Amazon Supply Chain Management Guidance: Amazon is touting Sustainability Data Fabric (SDF) as a way to "transform the landscape of product transparency, regulatory compliance, and supply chain sustainability."

3. Google and Energy Efficiency Software: Google has launched an Energy Assessment tool. The free, self-service platform helps manufacturing facility and plant managers "identify potential energy-saving opportunities and accelerate their journey to meaningful cost reductions and climate action," Google said.

4. Google Compute: Google's AI infrastructure boss told employees that the company has to double its compute capacity every six months in order to meet demand for AI services, CNBC reported.

B. Sustainable IT Investments, Funding, Earnings and Business Launches

1. Business Launch: EcoMedia Solutions (EcoMS) has launched to offer end-to-end sustainability solutions. The company's services span technology, data, consulting and communication expertise, according to founder and CEO Rumjhum Gupta.

2. M&A - Carbon Accounting Software: SGS has acquired Sami, a French startup that develops a climate change and carbon accounting platform. Sami, founded in 2020, has roughly 79 employees listed on LinkedIn as of November 2025. More than 1,500 corporate customers leverage Sami for carbon management. Sami's partner network spans more than 100 companies -- including including independent consultants and firms of all sizes such as KPMG, Ekodev, Bureau Veritas, Wavestone, and Axa Climate, according to the company.

C. Regional and Global Sustainability Policies, Regulations and News

1. COP31 Location: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan praised a deal reached with Australia for Turkey to host COP31, calling the compromise a meaningful achievement for multilateralism. 2. COP30 - Closing Deal: The closing COP30 deal didn't detail plans for shifting away from oil, gas and coal, and dodged an explicit mention of them, leaving some countries unhappy with the outcome. 3. United States Legislation - AI Data Centers and Liquid Cooling: Senators Dave McCormick (R-PA) and Chris Coons (D-DE) introduced the Liquid Cooling for AI Act of 2025. This legislation is "designed to help ensure American AI infrastructure are the most efficient, resilient, secure and advanced in the world," the legislators said.
