1. IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Services: Laptop Assets Recycling of Houston has launched a redesigned website for electronics recycling and IT asset disposition services.
2. Executive Leadership: Menzies Aviation has named Jonathan Hankin as head of ESG. Hankin previously was VP of GSE safety and sustainability.
3. Executive Leadership: Gevo, which specializes in renewable fuel and chemicals, and carbon management, has named Paul Bloom as president and eventual CEO. Current CEO Patrick Gruber plans to retire in April 2026.
4. Executive Leadership - CSO: CVS Health in October 2025 promoted Jennifer McColloch to CSO and VP of community impact.
5. Executive Leadership - Boardroom: Nicholas Cadbury, chief financial and sustainability officer at International Consolidated Airlines Group SA,. will join the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) board in March 2026. Cadburywill serve on the IHG boar's audit and responsible business committees upon appointment.
6. Talent - Accounting: S&W has hired PricewaterhouseCoopers veteran Chris Grant to build a new sustainability reporting team within S&W's Risk Advisory business, according to a LinkedIn update from Grant. He's set to join S&W in January 2026, the update said.
7. Travel and Hospitality: Business travel consultancy Advito has developed a quantitative framework to score hotels' sustainability efforts, Business Travel News reported.
8. Distribution - EV Charging Infrastructure: Segen Ltd. of the UK has agreed to distribute 3ti's smart solar EV Charging FastHub, known as Papilio3. The deal involves an exclusive six-month distribution agreement.
9. Ford's EV Pivot and Layoffs: Ford Motor will scrap various EV manufacturing plans and take $19.5 billion in charges in order to stem longer-term EV financial losses, Bloomberg reported. To boost revenue, Ford will turn its Kentucky EV-battery factory into a battery-storage business for customers such as utilities, wind- and solar-power developers, and massive data centers that train AI, The Wall Street Journal reported. Amid the pivot, Ford layoffs will impact all 1,600 employees at the Kentucky EV plant, WDRB reported.

1. M&A - Professional Services and Energy Management: WSP Global Inc. will acquire TRC Companies from private equity firm Warburg Pincus for US$3.3 billion, the buyer said. The deal will position WSP as "the largest engineering and design firm in the U.S., supercharging its Power & Energy offering and enhancing its capabilities across Water, Infrastructure, and Environment," the buyer added.
2. Startup - AI Data Centers: Keep an eye on Carbon3.ai, which is striving to build a UK data center network powered by renewable energy. Key partners include HP Enterprise (HPE), World Wide Technology (WWT) and Nvidia, according to a LinkedIn update from Carbon3.ai CEO Tom Humphreys.
