1. Cloud Software - Auto Industry: A2MAC1 has launched a Cost & Sustainability Suite in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The software allows car manufacturers to identify suppliers that can fulfill their cost, carbon emissions and performance targets, the companies said.
2. CES 2025 - Managed Energy Services: MSI, a developer of EV charging and renewable energy solutions, will unveil various Fast Charger, Portable Charger, and Energy Management System (EMS) solutions at the conference.
3. CES 2025 - Home Energy Storage: EcoFlow unveiled EcoFlow OASIS, a home energy storage solution that allows users to optimize home energy usage.
4. Executive Search Services: Heidrick & Struggles has expanded its global Climate & Sustainability Practice, which is led by Scott Atkinson. Key additions to the team include Uroš Zver, Rafe Jackson, and William Gibbs and Edmund Thomson Jones, the executive search firm said.
B. Sustainability M&A, Climate Tech Investments, Funding and Green IT Business Launches
1. Partnership - Investments: DeepGreenX Group and Sente Ventures are partnering on a five-year $25 billion strategic investment program focused on clean energy generation, virtual grids, battery storage, micro-reactor power, and data center infrastructure, the companies said.
2. M&A - HVAC Systems and AI Software: Trane Technologies has completed the previously announced BrainBox AI acquisition, which involves AI software that allows buildings to reduce their energy consumption and carbon emissions.
3. M&A - Consulting Firms: IMEG has acquired Optimized Systems, an engineering and energy management consultancy. Together, the companies will reinforce their focus on energy efficiency and sustainability services for buildings. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
4. M&A - Private Equity and Data Center Consultancy: Olympus Partners has acquired Accelevation, a provider of infrastructure products and services to the data center market. Accelevation’s expertise includes white space design, custom manufacturing, and installation services to hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise customers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
