Partnership - Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging: ChargePoint and Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) are partnering to boost the number of EV chargers available to Porsche customers to more than 100,000 across North America, the companies said. The partnership surfaces amid ChargePoint's effort to achieve positive non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2024. The ChargePoint business journey since 2023 has involved a CEO change and layoffs.

2. G7 Meeting - Energy Transition Policy:Â Leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) developed democracies will commit to accelerating their transition away from fossil fuels during this decade, Reuters reported, according to a draft of a statement to be issued at the end of their ongoing summit in Italy.
3. G7 Partnerships: At the 2024 G7 Summit in Italy, multiple organizations -- including BlackRock, Microsoft, Brookfield, and the World Bank -- reaffirmed their commitment to unlock public and private capital for accelerating sustainable infrastructure investment, SeekingAlpha reported. The effort involves the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment, the Biden administration said.
4. United States - Electric Grid Enhancements: Power grid technologies have gained momentum in Washington D.C. and state capitals in recent weeks, Bloomberg reported, as a way to connect more renewable energy and meet rising demand without building as many new transmission lines.
5. United States - University Milestone: The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) is the first higher education institution in the country to earn the Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) precertification for its campus-wide policies and actions to reduce waste and prioritize sustainability.  The College intends to achieve full TRUE certification in the future. Overseen by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), TRUE helps facilities measure, improve and recognize zero waste performance through sustainable waste management and reduction practices.
6. Philippines Energy Transition: The Philippines will temporarily halt processing of new applications for renewable energy projects amid a flood of contracts and associated projects, Bloomberg reported.
7. Japan Energy Strategy: Japan, a major coal and liquefied natural gas (LNG) buyer, could be energy-independent by 2060 thanks to expansion of solar and wind power together with storage batteries, Reuters reported.
