1. CEO Transition - Supply Chain Software: IntegrityNext, a provider of supply chain sustainability software, has promoted Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Bruno Teuber to CEO. Teuber succeeds Martin Berr-Sorokin, who shifts to chairman of the board of advisors. More than 600 customers leverage IntegrityNext to monitor close to 3 million suppliers across 190+ countries.
2. Executive Leadership - IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Services: illumynt has promoted Strategic Accounts VP Chris Tejeda to chief revenue officer (CRO). Illumynt reported 60% year-over-year revenue growth in 2025, driven by increased demand from hyperscalers, cloud providers, and data-intensive enterprises, the ITAD service provider said. We don't know if the revenue growth was organic or if it involved acquisitions. Also, we don't know the actual revenue dollar figures, and whether Illumynt is profitable.
3. Executive Leadership - IT Consulting and Professional Services: EY has appointed Velislava Ivanova as global chief sustainability strategist. She previously was EY Americas chief sustainability officer.
4. Leadership Leadership - Financial Services: Partners Group has promoted Oliver O’Bryan to head of sustainability. He previously was senior sustainability lead. Partners Group is a global private markets firm with $180 billion in assets under management and 2,000 professionals across 24 offices worldwide, according to the firm's LinkedIn page.
B. Sustainable IT Investments, Funding, Earnings and Business Launches
1. M&A - Software: Gryn and Lune have merged to focus on supply chain software for decarbonization. This is the latest in a growing list of M&A deals involving carbon accounting software companies.
2. Accelerator: A’Pelago unveiled the Nordic Blue Accelerator for 2026. The effort involves a "rotating Nordic Blue Economy accelerator" for early-stage startups.

1. Europe - Carbon Market Challenges: Slovakia’s prime minister called for a suspension of the European Union’s Emissions Trading System, arguing the move is necessary to ease pressure on industry and boost the bloc’s competitiveness, Bloomberg reported.
2. China Green Strategy: At the Davos conference, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng again urged nations to collaborate with Beijing — and the country’s clean-tech exporters — on action to combat emissions.
