1. Carbon Reporting Software: Zevero, a carbon management and reporting platform, unveiled a new ESG Disclosure Reporting solution. The platform allows customers to "streamline sustainability reporting across major global frameworks, including B Corp, CDP, and CSRD," Zevero said.
2. IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Blockchain: Verae now integrates with Evercycle, an ITAM specialist focused on asset circularity. The two companies are working together to "seamlessly incorporate Verae's blockchain technology into the Evercycle platform, enhancing the integrity, accountability, and transparency of ITAM/ITAD data," Verae and Evercycle said.
3. IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software: DOTS is promoting an ITAM platform that allows IT and HR managers to "manage the whole IT asset lifecycle through our platform, from IT procurement to IT onboarding or offboarding and EOL\Data-wipe solutions."
4. IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Business Expansion: SK tes plans to open a new 36,000 square foot facility in Shannon, "marking a major vote of confidence in Ireland's thriving data and technology sector," the ITAD company said.
5. Partnership - Scope 3 Reporting: HowGood and Watershed expanded their strategic partnership to help enterprise companies in the food & beverage industry with Scope 3 reporting.
6. Supply Chain Services: SustainoMetric of the Netherlands has launched a new Supply Chain Due Diligence service. The service "helps organizations build resilient and truly sustainable supply chains by providing a full, accurate and in-depth analysis of supply networks, producing actionable, data-driven insights to support strategic decision making," the company said.
7. Data Centers - Net Zero Initiatives: Four organizations have formed the Net Zero Data Center Alliance. The collaboration aims to "to develop and deploy zero-emission data centers with integrated bio-farm technology and sustainable construction solutions." Launch members include INNOVO - Profitable Net Zero, ESS, ARCO Design/Build (ARCO), and Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation.
8. Data Centers - Customer Win: atNorth, a green data center provider, plans to support Nokia’s cloud infrastructure with a multi megawatt deployment at its FIN02 site in Finland. The contract spans over 12 years and includes potential extensions totaling over 10MW, atNorth said.
9. Data Centers - Research Findings: Sustainability still not a high priority for datacenter industry, according to research from Aggreko, The Register reported.
B. Sustainability M&A, Climate Tech Investments, Funding and Green IT Business Launches
1. Call for Startups: The Next Web Conference is seeking startups to participate in the "Energy Innovation for AI Startup Challenge." The showcase is "designed to spotlight startups pioneering solutions in energy-efficient computing, data center optimization, and sustainable power generation, storage, and distribution."
2. New Fund: Eurazeo has raised €300 million for the Eurazeo Planetary Boundaries Fund. The fund will "integrate science into finance to address environmental challenges beyond climate change," Eurazeo said.
3. Funding - ESG Solutions: Uniqus Consultech -- which offers accounting & reporting, finance operations, governance, risk, ESG, and technology solutions -- has raised $20 million in Series C funding. Nexus Venture Partners led the round.
4. Funding: Fintech startup Crux Climate has raised $50 million in a Series B funding. The company is building a "central capital markets platform for the clean economy."
5. Private Equity: TPG has agreed to support Ardabelle Capital, a private equity firm focused on "accelerating the transition to a sustainable, resilient economy," the companies said. Ardabelle, founded in 2024, "seeks to partner with profitable mid-market industrial, services, and technology businesses that enable the shift towards more resilient, efficient, and sustainable value chains."
C. Regional and Global Sustainability Policies and News
1. COP30 Pre-Conference - No Invite for President Trump: United Nations and Brazilian officials did not invite U.S. President Donald Trump to a COP30 pre-conference meeting held in April 2025, Bloomberg reported. Leaders from more than a dozen countries -- including China -- attended the meeting.
2. European Energy Strategy: The United States wants central and eastern European countries to join its path of “energy freedom” instead of following the wider region’s transition to a net zero economy, Energy Secretary Chris Wright said, according to Bloomberg.
3. Singapore: The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and Tuas Power have signed an agreement to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with sustainability reporting and actionable frameworks, MSN reported.
