3. Executive Move - Data Centers: Atmosphere Data Centers has hired Meta veteran Chris Baughman as chief platform and sustainability officer.
4. Data Centers and Energy Efficiency: Microsoft is exploring using superconducting power lines in its data centers, which could potentially accelerate its massive U.S. build-out of the server warehouses by making them more energy-efficient, Reuters reported. 2. M&A - Real Estate Technology: Real estate sustainability data solutions provider Deepki has acquired energy management company Sobre Energie, ESG Today reported.
3. M&A - Data Center Cooling Technologies: Trane Technologies has acquired LiquidStack, which specializes in liquid cooling technology for data centers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Trane Technologies previously invested in LiquidStack in 2023.
4. M&A - Private Equity: TPG has acquired a majority stake in Sabre Industries -- an expert in critical energy infrastructure. The seller was Blackstone, which will retain a "significant minority stake a" in Sabre. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

1. United States - Climate Policy: The Trump administration plans to repeal a scientific finding that serves as the legal basis for federal greenhouse-gas regulation, The Wall Street Journal reported, in the most far-reaching rollback of U.S. climate policy to date.
2. United States - Investment Challenges: JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Morgan Stanley are among leading investment banks hesitating to provide financing for US renewables projects due to a lack of clarity from the Trump administration over tax rules, Bloomberg reported.
3. United States - Massachusetts Challenges: The city of Worcester, Massachusetts, has a challenge meeting its sustainability goals amid the Trump administration's moves to cut environmental programs nationwide, a local report said.
