Partnership - IT Services and AI: NTT Global Data Centers (NTT GDC) has agreed to host and scale Turiyam AI's inference servers, Analytics India Magazine reported. Their relationship will help AI customers to scale applications in a reliable, secure, sustainable way, the companies said.
January 2026
IT Infrastructure Evolution: NTT Data predicts the IT market will shift toward "informed Infrastructure" -- which will "optimize performance, anticipate demand and balance agility, cost, control and sustainability in real time."
Research - Enterprise AI and Sustainability Challenges: Fully 68% of global CEOs plan to increase AI investment in the next two years, though 83% acknowledge the environmental cost of rapid AI scaling, according to survey findings from NTT and WSJ Intelligence.
Virgin Media O2’s UK data center sites has tapped Network 2 Supplies (n2s) and NTT Data for circular IT services -- including decommissioning services. The deal covers more than 40,000 IT assets and devices.
December 2025
Executive Leadership - IT Services and AI: NTT DATA hired Bratin Saha as CEO of the newly formed AI Company, NTT DATA AIVista. Saha previously held executive positions at DigitalOcean, Nvidia and AWS.
M&A - IT Services: NTT DATA Group acquired SPRO IT Solutions, an SAP partner focused on agriculture and sustainability in Brazil. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
November 2025
Partnership - IT Services and Mining: Codelco (National Copper Corporation of Chile) will leverage NTT Data's IT services and solutions to "strengthen automation, safety, and sustainability" across operations, the companies said.
Partnership - Quantum Computing: NTT and OptQC are partnering to accelerate the market for optical quantum computing solutions, the two companies said. Middle East - Data Centers and IT Services:NTT Data is considering building data centers in Saudi Arabia as the Japanese firm looks to capitalize on fresh momentum around AI in the kingdom, Bloomberg reported.
IT Services and Autonomous Driving: NTT in December 2025 wlll launch NTT Mobility, which will provide a "one-stop service that comprehensively supports the introduction and operation of autonomous driving services nationwide," the Tokyo-based company said.

IT Services and AI: NTT DATA is calling on companies to embed sustainability into every layer of AI development and deployment to counteract the technology's environmental impact, according to a white paper from the IT services firm.
Partnership - IT Services and Chips: Broadcomand NTTplan to co-develop optical semiconductor devices that cut data center power use by up to 50%, NHK reported.
Partnership - IT Services and Financial Services: CNF -- the development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean -- has tapped NTT Data for various digital transformation services. Key focus areas include environmental sustainability and water security.

Strategy Shift: NTT Data updated its overall sustainability strategy. Indeed, the company identified 13 material topics to be addressed globally, organized under three pillars: Planet Positive, Prosperity Positive, and People Positive. This revision places greater emphasis on global perspectives, particularly in relation to the expansion of the data center portfolio and the growing influence of AI, the company said.

Data Centers: The company's data center division, NTT Global Data Centers, is striving to achieve Net Zero across Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, and across Scope 1–3 by 2040, ten years ahead of the timeline of the Paris Agreement. The goals emerged in the company's first NTT Global Data Centers sustainability report.

IT Services and Agriculture: NTT Data is touting generative AI capabilities as a way for communication service providers (CSPs) to support agriculture companies.
IT Services and Renewable Energy: At NTT Data Business Solutions, almost half (49%) of all data center energy consumption involves renewable energy, the global IT service provider said in its second Sustainability Report.

IT Services and Software Sustainability: Through collaborations with the Green Software Foundation (GSF) and the introduction of Green FaaS (Function as a Service) concept, NTT Data is "paving the way for a more sustainable future in software development," the global IT services company asserts.
Partnership - Data Center and AI Chips: An NTT data center in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, will become a "Green Nexcenter” that leverages liquid-cooling systems and renewable energy, The Fast Mode reported. The center has also been certified under the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center program, the report said.
