1. IT Services - Top Sustainability Providers: The top providers of sustainable IT services are listed in a Forrester Wave report.
2. Software and Net Zero: Acronis, which develops data protection and security software, reduced its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 40% in 2025 compared to 2024, the company said.
3. Partnership - IT Services and Energy Efficiency: Tata Power, in partnership with Salesforce, has deployed Agentforce Sales, Agentforce Service, and Agentforce Marketing across its renewable energy subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL). The collaboration "reinforces Tata Power’s long-term clean energy roadmap aligned with India’s net-zero ambitions by establishing a secure, intelligent, and fully integrated clean energy ecosystem powered by AI, automation, and data-driven insights," the companies said.
4. Partnership - IT Services: KPMG LLP is now authorized to resell Context Labs Enterprise Carbon Management Platform as part of its climate and operational advisory offerings.
5. Vertical Market Software: Sustaira has launched dedicated sustainability suites for the Telecommunications, Real Estate, and Healthcare sectors.
6. Expanded ITAD Services: BNS has expanded its BNS Networks and BNS Consulting services across Europe and Latin America. The move essentially offers ITAD services to telecommunications providers and data center operators in new regions.
7. New ITAD Services: GreenSight Technologies has developed Quote Engine, which gives ITAD procurement teams "live, source-backed market data so they can respond to any bid in minutes — with full margin visibility before they commit," the company asserts.
8. HVAC Solutions - Energy Efficiency: Schneider Electric has announced the Altivar HVAC Drive family, which are designed to "deliver over 30% energy savings, improved system uptime, and seamless integration into modern Building Management Systems (BMS)," the company said.
9. Managed Energy Services: Eaton announced general availability for Brightlayer Energy, an AI-powered energy management and optimization system (EMOS). Brightlayer Energy is designed to help building owners manage, optimize and monetize energy investments, while meeting local regulatory requirements, Eaton said.
10. Managed Services - EV Charging Network: Driivz has launched an Energy Management System for EV charger networks.
11. IT Services and AI: PwC has launched PwC One, a portfolio of AI services for clientele. The initial launch involves selected PwC teams and U.S. client engagements, with capabilities involving tax analysis, financial reporting, sustainability assurance, deal diligence and operating model transformation.
12. AI and Energy Services: OpenAI is in talks to purchase energy from fusion startup Helion Energy, according to SeekingAlpha. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is an early Helion Energy investor.
13. Lawsuit - ITAD Talent: Electronic Recyclers International (ERI) has filed a lawsuit against IT asset disposition (ITAD) company Revivn Public Benefit Corporation, alleging that the firm engaged in a coordinated effort to recruit its employees and use confidential operational information to compete in the electronics recycling sector, Resource Recycling reported.

1. Funding - Software: Earth Blox has raised £6 million led by PXN Ventures with support from Scottish Enterprise, follow-on investment from Archangels and funding from the European Space Agency (ESA). Earth Blox develops software that helps banks and understand how environmental risks could affect assets, supply chains and long-term investment decisions.
2. Funding - Carbon Management Software: Zevero has raised $7 million in a new funding, bringing total funding since inception to $14 million. The round includes participation from Spiral Capital, Gazelle Capital, and Deep 30. Zevero plans to continue its expansion across Asia-Pacific and continental Europe. The Zevero partner program includes decarbonization, services, network and tech partners.
3. Financing - Business Energy Services: Budderfly, has expanded its debt facility to $550 million to support continued growth of its Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) platform. Key backers include BlackRock and Vantage Infrastructure.
4. Launch: Climative has launched an insurance-focused platform that is "designed to help insurers communicate climate risk to homeowners in a clear and actionable way."
5. M&A - Consulting Services: Bureau Veritas of France has acquired Verte and Sustainable Construction Services -- two consulting firms focused on sustainable buildings and associated infrastructure services in the United Kingdom, ESG Today reported.
6. M&A - Data Center Cooling Technology: Ecolab is acquiring CoolIT Systems from KKR for roughly $4.75 billion in cash, or roughly 24x estimated 2027 adjusted EBITDA. CoolIT is a pure-play data center liquid cooling company that helps the world’s largest hyperscale and colocation operators run more efficiently and reliably, Ecolab said.
7. M&A - Security and AI Models: OpenAI has agreed to buy Promptfoo, a startup that enables large businesses to find and fix security issues in AI models during their development, Bloomberg reported.

1. United States - AI Legislation: The Trump Administration has outlined an AI Legislation Framework that strives to set national policies rather than state-level policies.
2. United States: Almost 40% of US public companies have cut standalone ESG risk disclosures in early annual reports, Sustainable Views reported.
3. Anthropic vs United States: Nearly 150 retired federal and state judges have filed an amicus brief supporting Anthropic in its lawsuit against the Trump administration for designating it a “supply chain risk,” CNN reported.
4. Lawsuit vs. Trump Administration: Universities overseeing the largest federally funded climate research center in the United States filed a lawsuit to block the Trump administration’s efforts to dismantle the lab, TRT World reported.
5. Nigeria Partnership: PwC Nigeria and the Lagos Business School are partnering to promote sustainability education to business executives and corporate leaders in Nigeria.
