1. Partnership - Climate Risk Data and Analysis: ERM and Jupiter Intelligence are partnering to deliver climate-resilient risk management and investment strategies to clients, Consultancy UK reported. The alliance will combine Jupiter’s decision-grade data and analytics with ERM’s operational expertise.
2. ESG Software: Datamaran launched a Regulatory Monitoring solution that "combines advanced AI analysis with expert-curated regulatory intelligence to help organizations stay ahead of environmental, social, and governance regulations worldwide," the company said. Datamaran's partner program includes major global consulting firms such as Deloitte. Indeed, Deloitte leverages Datamaran's ESG software to help customers in Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium to monitor their sustainability risk factors and meet compliance demands, the two companies said in December 2024.
3. Amazon Strategy Update: In an Amazon-produced interview, Mandy Ulrich, senior manager of energy and water for AWS Data Center Global Services in the Americas East region, describes what "carbon-free energy means, why Amazon is expanding beyond renewables like wind and solar, and how investing in nuclear technology, battery storage, and grid modernization can deliver benefits to Amazon and the communities in which we operate." 4. Google Data Center Expansion: Google plans to open a data center in Pine Island, Minnesota. Google will partner with Xcel Energy and leverage clean energy for the data center effort, according to Briana Kobor, Google's head of energy market innovation. 5. Greenwashing Lawsuit vs Apple Dismissed: Apple convinced a federal judge to dismiss a proposed class action alleging the company duped buyers into believing certain Apple Watches they purchased were “carbon neutral," Bloomberg Law reported. 6. AI Trade Secret Lawsuit Dismissed: A federal judge in California dismissed a lawsuit from xAI that accused competitor OpenAI of stealing its trade secrets, Reuters reported. Related: AI lawsuit timeline and, judgments and court rulings.
7. Tesla AI Strategy: Tesla has rolled out its Grok AI assistant to Australia and New Zealand, embedding the conversational xAI chatbot directly into compatible vehicles via an over-the-air update, Teslarati reported. Related: Tesla AI strategy, milestones and challenges.
8. Partnership - EV Charger Networks: EnergyHub and Rivian are partnering to expand access to utility EV programs for Rivian drivers across North America, the two companies said.
9. Research - Green Data Center Market Growth Forecast: The global green data center market will reach $235.4 billion by 2032, up from $52.76 billion in 2026, according to to the MarkNtel Advisors. That's a 28.31% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), the researcher said. North America leads the global market with more than 35% share, supported by strong hyperscale cloud presence, aggressive carbon neutrality targets, and early adoption of energy-efficient data infrastructure technologies, MarkNtel said. 10. Executive Leadership - Financial Services: Crédit Agricole has hired French government veteran Quentin Guerineau as chief sustainability and impact officer, ESG Today reported. 11. Executive Leadership - Apparel: Nike has named Cimarron Nix as chief sustainability officer, Oregon Live reported. She succeeds Jaycee Pribulsky, who left the company in September 2025.
12. Executive Leadership - EV Charger Networks: ChargePoint has hired Schneider Electric and Tesla veteran Jaser Faruq as chief product and software officer.

1. COP31: Fiji and Tuvalu will host key meetings in the lead-up to the COP31 climate summit in 2026, Reuters reported. Fiji will host the pre-COP31 meeting and Tuvalu will host a special leaders' component, under an agreement negotiated between Australia and Turkey, the report said. 2. United States - AI Data Center Energy Policy: Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, xAI, Oracle and OpenAI will visit the White House in March and sign agreement to build their own electricity supply for AI data centers, Fox News reported.
3. United States - Sustainability Pushback: Survey results from The Conference Board confirm that U.S. CEOs have sharply reduced their sustainability priorities in 2026 compared to 2025, ESG Dive reported.
