Sinai Technologies has released its Decarbonization Intelligence Portal, a tool aimed at "providing reliable and actionable carbon data analytics and reporting." The portal integrates with Tableau's software to "offer key features that enable companies to achieve complete visibility into their progress, governance, and planning," Sinai said.
Sinai, founded in 2017, is based in San Francisco, California. The company, led by CEO Maria Carolina Fujihara, develops decarbonization-as-a-service software to "measure, analyze, reduce and price emissions -- using science-based methodologies," according to the company.
Sinai had 64 employees listed on LinkedIn as of May 8, 2023. Partner program information is here.
The new software portal, integrated with Tableau, provides customers with:
- Automated visualizations that "provide detailed data analysis and simplify tracking for sustainability practitioners who are leading the carbon management charge."
- Custom graphs and charts that "allow users to easily track progress towards decarbonization targets across any dimension, and enable holistic insights for decision-makers."
The portal also allows customers to "create custom reporting dashboards for frameworks such as CDP, TCFD, and SEC, based on their organization's emissions profiles," the company said.
Sinai is backed by venture capitalists. The company in September 2022 raised $22 million in Series A funding led by Energize Ventures. Total funding since inception was roughly $37 million.
