11. Nirav Mandir: Diamond specialist SRK (Shree Ramkrishna Exports) expanded Nirav Mandir's position from chief human capital officer to also include chief sustainability officer (CSO).
12. Melanie Naidoo-Vermaak: Sibanye-Stillwater hired Melanie Naidoo-Vermaak as chief sustainability officer (CSO). She joined the mining and metals processing company on January 1, 2024.
13. Steve Newman: EarthCheck hired Steve Newman as chief sustainability officer (CSO), the ESG (environmental, social and governance) benchmarking, certification, and consulting company has announced.
14. Mirjam Peters: Höegh Autoliners named Mirjam Peters as chief customer sustainability officer, effective on May 1, 2024.
15. Anil Singh Gill: Silverlake Axis (SAL), a financial services and FinTech company in Singapore, named Anil Singh Gill as chief sustainability officer (CSO).
16. Nazar Soofi: Eddisons hired Nazar Soofi as head of sustainability and decarbonization -- a newly created position for the property consulting company.
17. Roel van Poppel: OFI, a business of the Olam Group, named Roel van Poppel as chief sustainability officer (CSO). Poppel previously worked at Olam -- where is was co-founding CEO of Tract, a joint venture set up by multiple companies to share sustainability insights across food and agriculture supply chains.
18. Peter Votruba-Drzal: PPG Industries, a provider of paints, coatings and specialty materials, has named Peter Votruba-Drzal to succeed Diane Kappas as VP of global sustainability. Kappas is set to retire on July 1, 2024.
