1. IT Services and Autonomous Driving: NTT in December 2025 wlll launch NTT Mobility, which will provide a "one-stop service that comprehensively supports the introduction and operation of autonomous driving services nationwide," the Tokyo-based company said. 2. Partnership - Data Centers and IT Networks: Verizon Business struck a deal with Amazon Web Services under which the U.S. telecom will build new fiber pathways connecting AWS data center locations, SeekingAlpha reported.
3. Partnership - AI Data Centers: OpenAI and Amazon have signed a $38 billion deal that enables the ChatGPT maker to run its AI systems on Amazon's data centers in the U.S., the Associated Press reported. Related: Amazon sustainability strategy and channel partner implications.

1. M&A - Data Center Liquid Cooling Technology: Eaton is acquiring the Boyd Thermal business of Boyd Corp. from Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Boyd Thermal develops liquid cooling and ruggedized solutions for data centers, aerospace and other end markets. The purchase price, $9.5 billion, represents 22.5 times Boyd Thermal’s estimated adjusted EBITDA for 2026, the buyer said.
2. M&A - Data Centers: Apollo has completed the previously announced acquisition of Stream Data Centers (SDC). Principal Asset Management is a minority investor in the deal. SDC’s management team will retain a minority stake and continue to lead the company.
3. Accelerator: The IBM Impact Accelerator program has selected five organizations for its 2025 cohort. The cohort will "use IBM solutions to help build smarter supply chains and strengthen digital infrastructure for long-term resilience and sustainability," IBM said. 1. COP30: EU climate ministers will make a last-ditch attempt to pass a new climate change target on November 4, in an effort to avoid going to COP30 empty-handed, Reuters reported. 2. EU Policy Debate: Renault boss Francois Provost said no carmaker in Europe can meet emission targets on vans or cars by 2030, calling for flexibility on the European Union's CO2 targets. (Source: Reuters)
