1. Partnership - Printer Recycling Program: Katun has partnered with Close the Loop to launch Katun Collects, a printer equipment recycling program for the European market. The program aims to recover more than 50 tons of used cartridges and components annually, of which the majority will be reused as remanufactured cartridges, Katun said.
2. Partnership - Aerospace and Net Zero: Siemens has partnered with Airbus to decarbonize major industrial sites in the U.S. and U.K., the organizations said. Capgemini is delivering many of the associated consulting and IT services. The effort aims to cut energy consumption by 20% and Scope 1 and 2 stationary emissions by 85% by 2030.

4. Apple Renewable Energy Consumption: Apple will "significantly expand" its use of solar and wind projects across Europe. 5. Software - Regulation Intelligence: Compliance & Risks has launched Sustainability, a compliance management solution that uses "AI to identify regulations that apply to each company and translate them into actionable obligations," the company said.
6. Software - Australia: Keep an eye on Carbonhalo, a carbon accounting software provider and services provider in Australia. We'll be watching for potential partner program updates.
7. Research - Carbon Accounting Software Market Growth Forecast: The carbon accounting software market will reach $100.84 billion by 2032, up from $20.18 billion, according to HTF Market Intelligence. That's at 23% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), the forecast said.
8. Research - Net Zero Consulting Market Growth Forecast: The net-zero consulting market will reach $25.4 billion by 2032, up from $10.5 billion in 2025, according to Worldwide Market Reports. That's a 13.2% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), the report said.
9. ITAD Global Market Growth Forecast: The global IT asset disposition (ITAD) market will reach $43.85 billion in 2032, up from $25.52 billion in 2024, according to Verified Market Research. That's a 7.72% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), the report said.
10. ITAD Growth Forecast for IT and Telecom: The global IT asset disposition (ITAD) market for IT and telecom solutions will reach $30.5 billion by 2031, up from $15 billion in 2024, Market Research Intellect reported. That's a 9.5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), the report said.

13. Executive Leadership: Arcwood Environmental has hired Invenergy veteran Carol Roos as chief communications and sustainability officer (CCSO), Arcwood said.

1. M&A - Satellite Services: CLS, a provider of satellite services for environmental monitoring and resource management, has acquired Ground Control. CLS gains more global satellite IoT capabilities to track various environmental metrics. Financial terms were not disclosed.
2. Funding - Software: Newtral, a startup carbon accounting and sustainability software provider in India, has raised $600,000 in seed funding, according to The Economic Times of India.
3. Funding - EV Charger Networks: Revel is receiving $60 million in funding from New York State to build nearly 300 electric-vehicle charging stalls, MSN reported.
4. Incubator - HACIA and CECI: HACIA’s Clean Energy Contractor Incubator Program (CECI), funded by the CEJA Illinois Clean Energy Contractor Incubator Program, is designed for contractors and professional services construction companies that are moving into the clean energy sector. C. Regional and Global Sustainability Policies, Regulations and News
1. United States - Big Tech Scrutiny: Multiple U.S. states are investigating renewable energy claims made by Amazon, Google, Meta and Microsoft, according to Trellis.
2. United States - Renewable Energy Policy Shortfall: The United States will struggle to generate the energy it needs to power growth in its tech industry without including wind and solar, according to Chuka Umunna, global head of sustainable solutions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in a Bloomberg interview.
3. United States - COP30 Delegates: A bipartisan group of U.S. senators plans to attend the conference, even as the Trump administration’s presence remains doubtful, Politico reported. Sen. John Curtis (R-Utah)and Sen. Chris Coon (D-Del.) will co-lead a delegation; and at least three other Republicans have expressed interest in joining the trip, the report said.
4. COP30 Forewarning: Global warming is crossing dangerous thresholds sooner than expected with the world’s coral reefs now in an almost irreversible die-off, marking what scientists described as the first “tipping point” in climate-driven ecosystem collapse, Reuters reported.
5. European Union - Manufacturing Rules: European Union leaders plan to agree for the bloc to set a new climate change target for 2040, but demand the EU does more to support industries like steel and carmaking to meet it, draft conclusions for an EU summit next week showed, Reuters reported.
6. Argentina - Data Center Project: OpenAI and Sur Energy have signed a letter of intent for a data center project in Argentina requiring an investment of up to $25 billion, Reuters reported.
7. Australia - Climate Data Debate: Climate Integrity, an advocacy group, has accused the gas industry of using "distorted research", produced by the accounting firm EY, to influence the Australian government's Future Gas Strategy, according to ABC.
8. New Zealand Climate Policy: New Zealand's government has set a methane emissions reduction target of 14-24% from 2017 levels by 2050, which scientists say is a "major step backwards in ambition and in climate action," Bloomberg reported.
