1. September 29-October 1: Data Center World POWER 2025 in San Antonio, Texas, at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa. 

2. September 30 to October 2: Science for Sustainability 2025 in the Helsinki region of Finland. The event is a joint collaborative effort between Finland’s two largest universities: The University of Helsinki, and Aalto University.

3. October 1: Sustainable Startup Investment Summit 2025 at Plaisterers' Hall in London. The event, hosted by Sustainable Times, is designed to "connect the investor community with handpicked sustainable startups."

4. October 1-2: Sustainable Seafood Summit 2025 is in Japan at the Grand Cube Osaka (Osaka International Convention Center) 12F Conference Hall. Seafood Legacy Co., Ltd. and Nikkei ESG are hosting the conference.

5. October 6-9: IBM TechXChange 2025 is in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center and the Hilton Orlando. The event, designed for developers and technologists, will include a partner day as well as sustainable IT services content. The Business Management and FinOps track includes Envizi -- IBM's carbon accounting and ESG software platform

6. October 7-9: European ZEB (Zero Emission Bus) Conference  2025 is at the Busworld Europe Brussels conference in Belgium.

7. October 13-16: The International Exhibition and Conference on Sustainable Cities 2025 is in the Persian Gulf on the island of Kish. The exhibition "aims to develop smart urban management, sustainable economy, new and renewable energies, green and sustainable transportation, environmental protection, sustainable and smart building, smart government, information and communication equipment and infrastructure, research, innovation, and knowledge-based economy, as well as social sustainability and security," organizers assert.

8. October 14-16: Salesforce Dreamforce 2025 is in San Francisco, California. The event focuses mostly on Salesforce's various cloud software for business automation -- including CRM, AI and other capabilities. But some of the content typically involves Salesforce Net Zero Cloud, an ESG software platform that helps customers and partners to track and reduce their carbon emissions.

9. October 14-16: The International Conference on Environmental Law and Governance for Sustainable Development 2025 is at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), University of Lagos. According to conference organizers: The first two days (October 14 – 15), will feature a hybrid workshop on Energy Transition and Sustainability while the last day (October 16, 2025) will feature an in-person international Conference on Environmental Law and Governance for Sustainable Development, Book Launch, and Induction ceremony culminating in the award of an Advanced Certificate in Energy Transition and Sustainability.

10. October 14-15: Business Aviation Sustainability Summit 2025 is at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event is co-hosted at the 2025 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).

11. October 17: The Metropolis Sustainability Lab+ Conference 2025 will unfold at The New School in New York, New York. This year's event "brings together top leaders from corporate America, higher education, healthcare, hospitality, to discuss strategies, tackle challenges, and uncover opportunities at the intersection of design, wellness, and sustainability," according to organizers.

12. October 20-26: One Ocean Week 2025 is in Seattle, Washington. According to conference organizers, this is "a region-wide, international gathering of ocean leaders, innovators, researchers, startups, policymakers, artists, educators, and communities to accelerate solutions for a sustainable, inclusive maritime future."

13. October 21: The 2025 Boston Sustainability and Energy Conference will help attendees to "Navigate Massachusetts’s sustainability landscape by leveraging resources and tools to meet mandates, reporting deadlines, and compliance requirements," according to organizers.

14. October 21-22: The IATA World Sustainability Symposium (WSS) 2025 is set for Hong Kong (SAR), China. The event is hosted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

15. October 21-23: The John and Kay Hargrave Water Sustainability Conference 2025 will unfold at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. The conference previously was called Oka Con.

16. October 22-24: ASHRAE Building Decarbonization Conference 2025 will occur at The Westin Chicago River North in Chicago, Illinois. The conference will focus on scaling decarbonized new construction of buildings; as well as scaling building decarbonization retrofits. Attendees will include engineering and technical solution providers, building owners, utility program managers, local governments and financial services providers.

17. October 28-29: Sustainable Cold-Chain for the Global South 2025 is set for the University of Birmingham in England. The event, organized by Clean Cooling Network, will explore how attendees can "provide holistic, sustainable, affordable, and resilient cooling and cold-chain services to all."

18. October 28-29: NJBIA’s Energy and Environmental Policy Forum 2025 positions itself as the largest and most substantive such conference in New Jersey and will set the tone for the next Administration, according to organizers. The event is scheduled for October 28-29 at the DoubleTree Hilton Somerset Hotel and Conference Center in Franklin Township, New Jersey.

19. October 29-30: The ecologiQ Greener Infrastructure Conference 2025 is set for the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in Australia.
