1. Partnership - AI Energy Needs: Schneider Electric and ETAP unveiled digital twin technology that can accurately design and simulate the power needs of Al Factories. The solution leverages the NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint for Al factory digital twins.
2. Partnership - Benchmarking Software: BeCause and Green Destinations are partnering to "transform how destinations, including national tourism organizations (NTOs), measure, track, and showcase their sustainability efforts," the companies said.
3. Partnership - Media and Advertising: XR and Scope3 are partnering to "integrate advanced carbon emissions data directly into XR’s platform."
4. Exit - Net Zero Banking Alliance: Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group of Japan (MUFG) is the latest bank that plans to exit the Net-Zero Banking Alliance, Bloomberg reported. Amid multiple member exits, the NZBA may soften its membership terms and scrap a requirement for signatories to align their portfolios with a goal of limiting global warming to 1.5C, Bloomberg said.
5. Exit -Net Zero Financial Services Provider Alliance: Deloitte has exited the Net Zero Financial Service Provider Alliance, according to Responsible Investor.
B. Sustainability M&A, Climate Tech Investments, Funding and Green IT Business Launches
1. M&A - Energy Transition Consulting: LRQA has acquired EcoEngineers, a U.S.-based consulting, auditing and advisory firm with an exclusive focus on the energy transition. LRQA gains over 120 sustainability experts, the buyer said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
2. M&A - Carbon Accounting Software: Apave has acquired Aktio, a carbon accounting software provider that has about 40 employees. Stockalper was the sell-side adviser to Aktio, which is based in France. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
3. Financing - Data Center Infrastructure: STACK Infrastructure has secured $4 billion in green financing for its 1+GW campus in Stafford, Virginia, as well as two campuses in Portland, Oregon, and Toronto, Canada, the company said.
4. Funding: BlueShift, an electrochemical climate tech startup, emerged from stealth mode with $2.1 million in pre-seed funding. Key investors include ConocoPhillips Company, Ridgeline and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC).

1. United States - IT Contracts Cancelled: Shares of IT contractors such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Gartner, Accenture, CACI International and Science Applications International fell sharply after Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said the Pentagon was canceling some contracts with Gartner and McKinsey, SeekingAlpha reported.
2. United Kingdom - AI Challenges: UK technology companies are struggling to balance sustainability and AI ambitions due to their current approach to data management, NetApp research found.
3. Brazil - Data Centers: Elea Data Centers, a provider of sustainable digital infrastructure and colocation services in Brazil, said its DE-CIX Internet Exchanges (IXs) are ready for business at its São Paulo-SPO1 and Rio de Janeiro-RJO1 facilities.
