Reonic: A Professional Services Automation (PSA) Software Platform for Renewable Energy Installers?

September 5, 2024 by Joe Panettieri

Reonic has raised €13 million in Series A funding led by Northzone, with participation from existing investors Point Nine and Puzzle Ventures, TechCrunch reported. We don't know the associated company valuation.

Reonic's co-founders Tristan Menzinger, Manuel Schneider and Udo Sill (pictured above) have experience from the IT, data analytics and IoT (Internet of Things) sectors, among other areas of expertise.

Reonic, founded in 2021, develops software that allows renewable energy installers to automate their businesses. Target customers include businesses that sell and install photovoltaics, energy storage systems, wallboxes and heat pumps.

Reonic's platform supports sales lead generation and management; sales quoting and proposal software; project management capabilities; and more.

PSA Software for Renewable Energy Consulting Firms, Customer Projects?

In some ways, Reonic sounds like a PSA (professional services automation) or CRM (customer relationship management) system for renewable energy consulting firms.

Within the traditional IT services market, IT consulting firms and MSPs (managed service providers) often run PSA software from such companies as ConnectWise, Kaseya or Halo PSA (among others). Generally speaking, those MSP-centric software companies have yet to fine-tune their software for sustainable IT services and renewable energy opportunities.

Reonic is based in Augsburg, Germany.
