1. Business Scope and Scale: SLR Consulting, founded in 1994, is a sustainability consulting firm that employs more than 3,000 people. Based in London, United Kingdom, the company has more than 100 offices in Europe, the United States, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Africa. SLA specializes in such vertical markets as power & energy, mining & minerals, infrastructure, built environment, manufacturing & industry and finance services.

2. Business Ownership: Private equity firm Ares Management acquired SLR Consulting from Charterhouse Capital Partners in 2022. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Charterhouse had owned a majority stake in SLR Consulting since 2018.
4. CEO Transition and Executive Backgrounds: SLR co-founder Neil Penhall will shift from CEO to vice chair of the SLR board of directors.
New CEO Bradley Andrews previously was president of Worley, a professional services company focused on the energy, chemicals and resources sectors. Worley has roughly 51,000 employees across 46 countries. Andrews' expertise includes "emerging sustainable and low carbon technologies such as renewables, sustainable fuels, hydrogen, CCUS, battery materials, subsea desalination and power," SLR said.
Bradley started his professional career on the owner side in mining and oil & gas before starting his consultancy career with Komex, an environment and water advisory company that Worley acquired in 2006. Previously, he was a president of Advisian, Worley’s advisory and consulting company. He also founded Advisian Digital -- which spanned a technology incubator, venture investment arm, and an automation and data intelligence unit.
