RE+ 2023, a major renewable energy conference, is under way in Las Vegas. The clean energy event is expected to attract roughly 27,000 attendees and 1,300 exhibitor companies.

For technology partners, installers and electricians working in and around the renewable energy market, RE+ 2023 offers plenty of news, product launches and service introductions. Here's a list of developments that surfaced at the conference. Keep checking back for updates.
RE+ 2023 News for Technology Partners, Energy Storage System Providers & More
1. Home Energy Management Platform:  Schneider Electric is now taking orders for Schneider Home, an iegrated home energy management solution that automates energy production, storage, measurement, and control – all from a single app. Schneider Home includes a:
- smart electrical panel;
- home battery for clean energy storage;
- high-power solar inverter; plus
- an electric vehicle (EV) charger and connected electric sockets and light switches.
All of those components are connected to "intelligently orchestrate home energy," the company asserted. Pricing and delivery for the solution were not announced.
8. Home And Portable Power: Anker -- a developer of charging, power delivery, and power storage solutions -- launched the Anker SOLIX X1 Home Energy Solution and the Anker SOLIX F3800 Portable Power Station at the event. Pricing and availability for the Anker SOLIX F3800 will be announced later this year.
7. Electric Vehicle (EV) Battery Repurposing: Smartville unveiled the the Smartville 360 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Early adopters include Nissan North America, which will leverage Smartville 360 BESS using second-life Nissan LEAF battery packs at the automaker's North American headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.
6. Power Storage: APsystems, a provider of solar power conversion technology, announced the global launch of its APstorage product line. The portfolio includes battery inverter models, designed to set new standards in energy storage solutions worldwide.
5. Solar Project Designs: Enact Systems is promoting Proposal Design as a Service, which allows installers to request design services from Enact for any commercial or residential property. Also, a new Enact Home app allows consumers to manage their clean energy transition.
4. Home Energy Backup Solutions: Geneverse is promoting PowerPillar, a solar energy storage system that offers installers a "higher profit margin through a streamlined direct-to-installer distribution model."
3. Community Solar: SolarEdge Technologies announced the U.S. launch of its new SolarEdge 330kW Inverter and its complementing H1300 Power Optimizer for community solar, agri-PV and small-to-medium scale ground mount utility PV (photovoltaic) applications.
2. LG Energy Solutions: The company LG vowed to triple the ESS (Energy Storage System) division’s global sales in five years, fueled by the "remarkable expansion of the U.S. market." Specific revenue figures -- in dollars -- were not disclosed. LG Energy Solutions is a split-off from LG Chem. The company manufactures lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, mobility, IT and energy storage systems.
