Hamburg Sustainability Conference 2026 is scheduled for June 29-30. The event is a "global sustainability platform for leading minds from politics, business, science, civil society, and multilateral organisations," according to organizers.
Key conference organizers include the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Michael Otto Foundation and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
The 2025 event attracted 1,600 attendees from political, corporate, academic and civil society backgrounds. The event featured the Hamburg Declaration on Responsible AI for the SDGs (Software Development Goals).
