KPMG in the Crown Dependencies has partnered with ESI Monitor to provide sustainability consulting and ESG reporting services. The effort involves ESI Monitor's FutureTracker, a software platform that allows customers to target, achieve and maintain sustainability goals.
ESI Monitor, founded in 2019, has helped more than 100 international and local businesses in developing personalized, structured sustainability programs as of February 2023, the company indicated. ESI Monitor had 12 employees listed on LinkedIn as of February 2023. The company is based on Guernsey, an island in the English Channel of the coast of Normandy, France.
KPMG will work with local businesses across the Crown Dependences to implement ESI Monitor's software, to include assistance with assessing current processes for data collection, designing improved processes, suggesting ways to make improvements and interpreting the results to improve their carbon footprint, the company said.

KPMG did not mention whether the company will extend the ESI Monitor partnership beyond the Crown Dependences -- which are three island territories in the British Islands that are self-governing possessions of the British Crown.
KPMG has been inking ESG partnerships worldwide. Another example deal, also announced in February 2023, involves Workiva. Together the companies are delivering "environmental, social, and governance (ESG) focused solutions and services.” Around the same time, KPMG hired Deloitte veteran Thitachai Apipongcharoen as climate risk manager for Southeast Asia.
