Here are 10 (actually, make that 20) sustainability-related conferences and in-person events to note for March 2024.
1. Economist Impact Energy Transition Summit 2024 Dates (March 4, London, UK): The event focuses on the greening of the energy grid.
2. Sustainability Week 2024 Conference (March 4-6, London, UK): The in-person portion of the conference is expected to attract roughly 180 speakers and 1,000 attendees.
3. Washington Oregon Higher Education Sustainability Conference (WOHESC) 2024 (March 4-6, Bellingham, Washington): The event is a "platform for inspiring change, facilitating action, and promoting collaboration around sustainability and social justice within the Cascadia region's higher education institutions," according to the conference organizers.
4. Green Schools Conference (GSC) 2024: Sustainability Event Dates (March 5-7, Santa Fe, New Mexico): The 2024 GSC education program will include five education tracks related to:
- Sustainability planning
- Student climate action
- Health and wellness
- School as a teaching tool
- Green infrastructure
5. WEAF Annual Expo and Conference 2024 Dates (March 6, Gloucestershire, South West England): The WEAF (West of England Aerospace Forum) is a networking association for aerospace, advanced engineering and defense companies in the South West of England. One of the conference focus areas involves Sustainability & Innovation. The discussion will focus on energy usage reduction and CO2 reduction mapping for a more environmentally conscious manufacturing process.
6. Sustainability Live: Net Zero 2024 Conference (March 6-7, London, UK): The conference attracts roughly 2,000 virtual and in-person attendees -- though we don't know the actual number of on-site attendees.
7. Future Leaders Climate Summit 2024 Conference Dates and Location (9-11, Miami Beach, Florida): The event aligns with the Aspen Ideas: Climate 2024 conference -- hosted by the Aspen Institute.
8. Aspen Ideas: Climate 2024 Conference Dates (March 11-13, Miami, Florida): According to conference organizers: "Aspen Ideas: Climate is designed to offer the public a chance to interact, learn, and collaborate with thinkers and do-ers whose actions are critical to addressing our collective future around the realities of a changing climate."
9. SAVe 2024: Global Conference Sustainability in AV (March 14-15, Los Angeles, California): An independent, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Sustainability in AV (SAVe) positions itself as "the first industrywide U.S.-based organization to bring stakeholders in the audio visual (AV) field together to take concerted action to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)."
10. Roth Conference 2024 (March 17-19, Dana Point, California): According to conference organizers: The format will provide investors the opportunity to hear from and meet with executive management from approximately 500 private and public companies in a variety of growth sectors including: Consumer, Technology & Media, Sustainability & Industrial Growth, AgTech, Energy, Metals & Mining, Healthcare, Services and Insurance.
