3. Partnership - IT Consulting and Software: EY and SAP are expanding their alliance to "help organizations accelerate value-led sustainability action." Specifically, EY professionals are advising SAP and customers on the "core design and blueprint of the next generation of software solutions to create more impactful climate, nature and social impact strategies," the two companies said.
4. Partnership - Data Centers: Switch Datacenters and CoolIT Systems are partnering to "significantly curtail energy and water consumption inherent in modern data centers," the two companies said.
5. Manufacturing - Supply Chain Visibility Partnership: Oshkosh, which develops purpose-built vehicles and equipment, has partnered with Manufacture 2030 to "move the company closer to establishing its science-based targets." Manufacture 2030’s unique software platform and support services help measure, manage and reduce emissions across global supply chains.

Digital Twins and Green Buildings: Hikvision of Hangzhou, China has created a digital twin solution to "align with the growing demand for intelligent and sustainable construction solutions," the company said. The software, which creates a digital replica of a building, can facilitate "real-time monitoring of critical performance indicators such as energy efficiency, climate control, and security," the company added.

Lawsuit: Environmental group Greenpeace has filed a complaint against Suncor Energy with the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC), alleging that Canada's second-largest oil producer is failing to fully disclose climate-related risks to shareholders, Reuters reported. Suncor did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
B. Sustainability M&A, Investments, Funding and Green IT Business Launches
1. M&A - Carbon Markets Research: MSCI Inc., a provider of decision support tools and services for the global investment community, has acquired Trove Research, an advisory firm focused on the carbon market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
2. M&A - Wildfire Mitigation: Technosylva, a provider of wildfire mitigation technology solutions, has acquired Atmospheric Data Solutions (ADS). ADS is a provider of advanced atmospheric data and analytics solutions to U.S. and European utilities, government agencies, and businesses. The acquisition will further help Technosylva's customers to "prevent the destructive and increasingly common occurrence of wildfires in multiple geographies including the United States." Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
3. M&A - Battery Rentals: Speedy Hire has acquired Green Power Hire Limited (GPH) for an enterprise value of £20.2 million (US$24.77 million). GPH supplies Battery Storage Units (BSU) to the UK rental market, mainly to the construction sector. The deal will further accelerate Speedy Hire's sustainability strategy, the buyer said.
4. M&A - Reverse Logistics: Blue Yonder, a supply chain solutions provider, has acquired Doddle, a startup that offers final mile, returns management and reverse logistics solutions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
