1. Funding - Energy Management: Seattle startup Bayou Energy has raised a $1.2 million pre-seed round, GeekWire reported. The company has developed technology that pulls customer data from U.S. utilities to provide real-time information on energy use as well as consumption over time.
2. Financing - Data Center Expansion: EdgeConneX has secured more substantiality-tied financing to build out data centers in Europe, Data Center Dynamics reported. The latest move involves an additional $1.9 billion in sustainability-linked financing to support its EMEA expansion, the report said.
3. M&A: Nexergy has acquired Cassandra as part of a push toward "sustainable resource production throughout Europe." Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
4. M&A - Environmental Services: True Environmental, backed by Halle Capital, has acquired Triton Environmental - a provider of environmental consulting and engineering services. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
5. M&A - Potential Software Deal: Salesforce may acquire Informatica, a data software giant that also assists customers with ESG and sustainability data management, The Wall Street Journal reported.
