3. Partner Program: My Green Lab has launched an Accelerator Partner Program. The organization develops standards for laboratories and laboratory products involving medical and technical innovations.
4. Partnership - Electric Vehicles and Telematics: ChargePoint's charge management software will integrate with Mercedes-Benz and Setra brand buses. The software supports asset monitoring, real-time insights and advanced reporting capabilities.
5. AI Energy Consumption: Sustainable Metal Cloud said its immersion cooling technology is 28% cheaper to install than other liquid-based solutions, and claims the technology reduces energy consumption by up to 50%, CNBC reported. Sustainable Metal Cloud is an Nvidia partner.
6. Apple Launch Event: Apple will unveil the iPhone 16 and other new devices during a September 9 launch event at the company's headquarters. We'll be watching to see if or how Apple touts carbon neutral or sustainable products at the gathering. During the 2023 launch event, a carbon neutral Apple Watch surfaced. But some critics questioned the carbon neutral claims, since the associated formula included Apple purchasing carbon credits.
7. Microsoft - Solar Power: Microsoft has agreed to buy solar power generated by panels on hundreds of public housing and government-owned buildings in Singapore, Bloomberg reported.
