Good morning. Here is the latest news, research and market analysis that sustainable technology partners need to know for Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

1. IT - Sustainability Partnership Awards: HP honored multiple partners for their sustainability efforts.

2. M&A - ESG Software: Apexanalytix (Apex), a provider of global supply chain risk management data, software and services, has acquired ESG Enterprise -- a provider of environmental, social and governance (ESG) management data, software and services. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

3. Funding - Sustainable Infrastructure: Banyan Infrastructure, which develops a sustainable financing software platform, has raised $25 million in Series B funding. Climate software investor Energize Ventures led the round. Other participants included SE Ventures, Elemental Excelerator, VoLo Earth and Ulu Ventures. Banyan develops project finance software that "enables banks, financiers, and developers to automate and track complex project finance transactions with a unified risk and data management system. With Banyan, customers can rapidly grow their sustainable infrastructure portfolio and achieve net-zero targets," the company said.

4. Research - Carbon Accounting Software Market Forecast: The global carbon accounting software market will reach $64.39 billion by 2030 -- up from $12.73 billion in 2022. That's a 22.8% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for the forecast period, according to Fortune Business Insights. Key software providers covered in the report include

5. Green Data Centers: TexAmericas Center has identified a "unique piece of property with the intent to develop green energy data centers, suitable for major companies looking to expand and enhance data storage capabilities," according to TXK Today.

6. Partnership - Google and Solar Energy: Sol Systems, a national solar energy company focused on developing and operating renewable energy projects with community impact, is partnering with Google to enable "the development of new solar energy projects and supports local communities where the projects are built," the two companies said.

7. Software - Supply Chain Management: Inspectorio has updated the Inspectorio Rise software platform with new and enhanced capabilities involving third-party data integration and analytics. The software is designed to help customers "assess and lower compliance risks, and make measurable environmental and social impacts."

8. Venture Capital: Matterwave Ventures has raised $79 million for its new Matterwave Industrial Technologies II fund. The fund will focus on sustainability startups across Europe.

9. UK Policy - Small Businesses and Net Zero: Amazon and Planet Mark, a sustainability certification firm, call on United Kingdom officials to create a "government-backed Net Zero Resource Hub for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to help them access funding and advice on how to become more sustainable," the companies said.
